Denstone Contemporary Art Gallery
Denstone Contemporary Arts is situated on Alton Road, Denstone, overlooking the Weaver Hills (it’s a big white house on the right as you drive out of Denstone in the direction of Alton). The gallery is run by professional artist Johanna Domke-Guyot and displays her artwork as well as the works of Paul Marshall, Josie Walter, Jeremy James, Helen Rhodes and other artists.
For those wishing to improve their own artistic and creative talents there will be a variety of workshops such as watercolour, glass jewellery, fused glass for beginners, raku evenings, raku glazing, firing and kiln building, throwing (both beginners and advanced). One to one tuition is also available if required.
As an integral part of the centre, there is a cafe where visitors will be able to enjoy home cooked meals and speciality afternoon teas, with beautiful home baked cakes.
