Play Area
Denstone Youth Fund
Denstone Youth Fund raised the money for and set up the children’s play areas. They also organise youth events like the Denstone Factor.
Tom Boden Memorial Sports Trust
The Tom Boden Memorial Sports Trust owns and looks after the area in the centre of the village comprising the bowls green, the tennis courts and the childrens play area. It also looks after the playing field area known as “Robert’s Green”.
British Legion
Denstone Branch of the British Legion was formed after the First World War 1914-1918 (possibly in 1921). The Branch normally meets twice a year in the Bowls Pavilion.
Community Transport
Launched in April 2006, the Community Transport service is proving to be a valuable facility available to all Denstone residents. The main purpose of the scheme is to provide a door to door service for those who are without access to a private car, when suitable public transport is not available, or cannot be used due to infirmity, age or disability.
Denstone Village Hall
The Village Hall is a registered charity. It is run by a Management Committee composed of representatives nominated by village organisations, four elected members and up to four co-opted members.
