Denstone Parish Church The church was founded by Sir Percival Heywood, who employed George Edward Street to design it. Street was a great architect associated with the 'Gothic revival' ranking alongside Pugin and Butterfield. All Saint's was Street's favourite Church, and is regarded as one of his finest works. It's corner stone was laid in 1860 and the church was completed in 1862. For a more detailed history, a leaflet is available from All Saints' Church on request. |
