Parish Council

The Parish Council was formed in 1894. The area currently covered by the parish includes the village of Denstone plus the four hamlets of Doveleys, Prestwood, Quixhill and Stubwood. The council consists of nine elected members and a clerk. A full election of the council takes place every four years – the last one being in May 2007. In the interim if a vacancy occurs due to resignation, death or disqualification this will be declared on the notice boards.

The council meets monthly, normally on the first Tuesday of every month, in the Village Hall see the website events calendar for exact dates by clicking here. The first point of contact in most instances will be the clerk. For full contact details of all your Parish councillors please see the website contact files by clicking here.
